Dark Brown Waffles

Saturday morning I ran along the Coastal Trail through Lincoln Park - on the ocean side of the city just beyond the Presidio. I really liked this tree. The light was shining through in a way that captured my attention. If you squint, you can even see a little piece of the moon to the right of the tree. The first photo is untouched as captured by my phone. I then played with it in Snaptastic. I have no idea what makes a picture cool, but this one looks cool to me.
