I’m old enough by far to have listened to Tribe Called Quest, but I have to admit to having never done so. I don’t know. Maybe I thought I’d heard it? Maybe I thought I was familiar with its work? But I wasn’t.
So when I started the other day, I’m not sure what I was expecting. Let me just say that the group’s plaudits are earned. This stuff is excellent. And I’m an idiot for not getting to it sooner.
